Realization of charged information services - rules and regulations
- The beginning of work on an ordered information service follows
after:

placement of an order,
-
a preliminary estimation of possibilities to realize the order,

payment of an advance fee of 50 PLN(20 EU).

A charge for the completion of an ordered information service depends
on the amount of time required to complete an order.

The Library charges a fee of 50 PLN (20 EU) for each hour of work on an
ordered information service.

If an express service (up to 24 h) is required, the charge is raised by 30%.

Institutions ordering an information service complete an order form signed by a
supervisor and a chief accountant. Invoices are issued by Biblioteka
Śląska.

Results of the researches can be obtained after submitting the final charge
for the service’s completion. Results can be sent by e-mail
after the Library has received the required payment. The conditions
of receipt are specified at the time when an order is placed.

In case of negative results, the user will be notified of the range of
research. The advance fee is non-refundable and covers the work done
during the research.

The Library does not compile reference lists to master’s, doctoral or postdoctoral theses.
